Heng Yang is a filmmaker from China who currently living in San Francisco, California. In 2019, she graduated with a MFA in Studio Art from San Francisco Art Institute. Her work is informed by humanity’s relationship to time and space filtered through her personal experience of daily life. She use long shots in her films to make the audience feel the story instead of merely see it. Since she first began to study film, she have continued to explore her emotional life through natural symbols in order to observe and critique herself and society around her.
